The Main Street Mile is a fast, competitive, chip timed one mile run through downtown Smithfield. Run as an individual or on a team. Coaches of school teams can email wharfhillbrewingco@gmail.com for a promo code. Individuals may also choose to walk or jog the one mile.
Runners will be released in waves based on estimated mile time. Awards for top performers in the male, female, and team categories. Teams limited ot 15 people.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Smithfield High School soccer, track, and cross country programs.
Parking can be found at the following locations:
YMCA, 259 James Street; Littles Super Market, 518 Main Street; Smithfield Center, 220 N Church Street.
Race start will be at the corner of 1st St and Riverview Ave and the finish line will be directly in front of the Isle of Wight County Museum on Main Street. Checkin will start at 7:30am at Riverview Park, across from the library.
